Finally, my grad school professor gave me one exercise that totally transformed my experience with sight reading (I'll show you at the workshop). Ever since that day, in Dr. Barbara Lister-Sink's sight reading class, everything changed!
Today, I especially enjoy teaching sight reading. As a gigging pianist and teacher for the last decade, it has proven to be an invaluable skill, truly opening up the world of music for me and my students.
I love the moment a student's eyes light up, ignited by the realization that they CAN become the sight reader they've always wanted to be!
At this workshop, I'll guide you through my favorite sight reading exercises, which I've refined over the past 7 years.
